I have been trying for several weeks now to cancel a test account that I had at gearhost.com ...

I've called twice ... once left a voicemail for ryan ... the owner ...

I've sent several emails to billing@gearhost.com and ryan@gearhost.com per their employees instructions and now they are sending me past due notifications because they are no longer authorized to charge my credit card.

I dont think it's right that they are going to simply ignore my cancellation requests and keep racking up charges on an account that I have been trying to cancel for weeks.

GEARHOST= NOT COOL

*personal opinion*
Right after attention to the servers, a hosts prime amount of time should be diverted to billing. Whether it's people that owe, or people you yourself owe, money is one of those thing that 'affects' people more strongly than anything. The stuff takes a bit of work to get, so having someone take it away without your authorization is something that I'd personally feel pretty angry about.

As someone who deals with billing everyday I find it hard to believe that a host would manage to ignore. Billing issues, whether good or bad, should automatically prick anyone's attention (it's money after all).

Hopefully this thread will see it sorted for you.
