hi!

I have a small webdesign company, and now we are creating a small hosting company dedicated to our clients (now serving 45 websites).

We have installed WHMCS at one "clean" VPS hosting, and we want to use our actual hosting plans and buy one more dedicated server. But i have some questions and if some with WHMCS experience could explain it would be very helpful.

My present specs:

a) I have just install the WHMCS at one VPS hosting server
Up to 768Mb Ram
20Gb Hard Drive
800 Gb Bandwith

b) I have 2 more VPS accounts each at diferent hosting companies.
Up to 512 Mb Ram
15Gb HardDrive
500 Gb Bandwich

c)- I have 1 Dedicated Server in another diferent hosting company.
1 x Intel Quad-Core 2.13Mhz
4 Gb RAM
2 x 750Gb Hard Drive (RAID)
Unlimited Bandwich

Questions:

1- At the WHMCS Control Panel can i add all the above accounts, so that WHMCS in an automaticly way can create new hosting clients?

Ex: Can I have a website with 4 diferent hosting plans each one target to my 4 diferent servers (3VPS + 1 Dedicated) ?

And when a new client enters my site and buys a hosting plan, all the process of invoicing, emailing passwords and setting the hosting account ready upon payment by the client, in automaticly way?

2- If not, please someone explain to me how many diferent servers can i add to WHMCS.

3- If the WHMCS is instaled at one VPS, can that VPS be reselled by the WHMCS or it as to be always on a diferent account?

4- If any of my actual hosting account cant work with WHMCS, please provide me with some advices.

5- If all my actual hosting accounts work with WHMCS, does anyone estimate how many diferent "normal" websites can i host in total?

Are all of your servers running cPanel or a popular control panel?

Yes, you can.

Go to: Configuration -> Servers -> Add Server, and then add all 4 servers.

Then, to set it up automatically, when you add the product/service just go to modules -> Cpanel(or whatever control panel you have), and set it up there.

Yes as already stated just add all of the servers you have to WHMCS. Then once you create all of the plans you are going to sell you can tell WHMCS what server you want those accounts added to.

Yes WHMCS can be installed on a VPS and then you can still sell shared or reseller account on that server.

The number accounts you can host on all of your servers will vary on the usage on each account. Your dedicated server could run more than 200 low usage accounts but one busy account could take away 30 low usage accounts so this is a really hard estimate to make.

Your WHMCS installation can be on just any normal webhosting account. It doesnt need to be a root/reseller account.

yes , you use your WHM remote HASH to create the accounts.

you can do it no problem make sure, tcp and upd allowing incoming and out going on all servers for ports 2082 , 2086 , 2087 so whmcs can create and manage accounts on all servers you must open these in either csf of apf which ever u are using,
