Hello again
OK this is my story, been with UKREG (Fasthosts) for about 8 years, they are ok, not great but I know where my domains are and how to access and change them when need be.
Anyway I am paying nearly $22 each .com renewal and now I look around it looks like I am paying to much as most seem to be paying $7 a year.
I have around 120 domain names to transfer but I am worried about who to use that are good and won't close shop the next day.
I have narrowed down to domaincentral.com or name.com and wondered what you guys thought of these companys, do you use them? Trust them? The websites they have don't look that well designed and that puts me off but I do like the prices.
Would appricate your input?
Thank you

I believe domaincentral is a reseller not a registrar. I trust registrars more than resellers. www.name.com is an established registrar that also owns www.domainsite.com. If you have 120 domains you may want to consider becoming a reseller yourself thru Enom or Directi.
All Registrars have their quirks and risks. Personally, I like Name.com ($5.99 transfers and $7.99 renewals) but it depends on how much risk you want to take since they are selling at a $0.63 loss in the first year. This, in the light of what happened to Registerfly, might be a risk you don't want to take. Although I think they have much better management. They break even after 2 years if they retain 50% of the new domains. Risky, but highly possible.
I personally, would stay away from all resellers and go with an established registrar only. The ones I like are GoDaddy, Name, Fabulous, Moniker, NameCheap.

Hi guys
Thanks for the reply, I am looking into name.com a bit more now and seem a good company.
I am interested in the reseller accounts, I have taken a quick look but can someone please explain how it works and what I need to do?
Thank you

I'm interested in this too.
I have been for many years with stargate, first as a customer then as a reseller, but they sold their business some time ago to a UK company with some bad rep.
I had also lately problems with not receiving my renewal notes and sites being redirected to their parking.
I would be looking for a 'no setup fee' reselling plan as the number of domains that are registered through me do not warrant the cost of e.g. enoms reseller plan.
Also, I looked at domaincentral.com which was mentioned above and it looks just like my reseller interface.
Name.com doesn't seem to have a reseller program (I'd like to customize the interface with my name and logo), if anyone knows different, I'd like to know about this.

I would recommend you to choose Namecheap

idotz.net (http://idotz.net) offers 62 TLDs, like .io, .tv and .nu. Some of them are expensive, but the common ones are $8.95.
