reasonable rate for v/mc, $10 monthly statement rate is a killer though. eCheck rate is good though.

MATT:

one of the requirements of this program is that the business is located in the US. There is another program open to international merchants - i will check on that for you and get back to you with its rates. If you have any other information you need let me know and I'll try to get that for you too.

I'm interested. Can you please provide some more info by answering the questions below?

1. Does this merchant account allow annual billing?
2. Are funds deposited into merchant's current business checking account or is he required to open an account with the bank providing the merchant account?
3. What is the bank provifing the merchant account?
4. Is there a contract for a certain amount of time?
5. Are there any fees for terminating the contract early?
6. Are there any fees for not renewing the contract when it expires?
7. Are the rates being offerred guaranteed for the term of the contract?
8. What about Discover/AMEX? Are they available? If so, at what rates?
9. Besides the charges listed in your offer, are there any other charges?

Thank you for your time.

Here are the answers to your questions - These will become part of a FAQ so we can get most of these questions answered online for you in the future.

1. Does this merchant account allow annual billing? If you are asking whether you can pay for the program on an annual basis then - No there is no annual billing.
If you are asking if you can bill your clients annually then - you can take payments anytime, anywhere. Authorize.net gateway interfaces with most online software so you shouldn't have problems connecting to process payments - the annual billing option would be handled by your software. If you know which software you are using I can check to make sure it will use the Authorize.net gateway.
2. Are funds deposited into merchant's current business checking account or is he required to open an account with the bank providing the merchant account? Current business checking account
3. What is the bank provifing the merchant account? Quad City Bank, Bentendorf Iowa
4. Is there a contract for a certain amount of time? One Year
5. Are there any fees for terminating the contract early? $195.00
6. Are there any fees for not renewing the contract when it expires? No
7. Are the rates being offerred guaranteed for the term of the contract? Yes, except if V/MC Interchange increases then it will be a increase a pass through
8. What about Discover/AMEX? Are they available? If so, at what rates? We do not quote them but can have Amex and Discover contact the merchant to be setup
9. Besides the charges listed in your offer, are there any other charges? No - Chargebacks $25.00
