My question is, how in the hell do they get the screenshot of the website on laptop. It has to be automated, its spam for christ sakes.

I hate this one,
i have recieved it 32 times (roughly) for the same website i own within the last month. ITS SO ANNOYING!

Yep its at the top of my "most hated spam" list aswell :mad:

If anyone knows the robot tag or something to put in a htaccess file to stop this that would be great (I only want to stop this one bot though) :)

There are server components you can buy that will do a "screenshot" and save it as a graphic image.

I am posting this message because I need some help from all the anti-spammers out there.
Recently my 14 year old son received a message which contained a link to the website www.halfpricecigs.com, his email account is with hotmail and has all sorts of filters in it.
The message still reached his inbox and smart ass that he is, he successfully bought a carton of Cigarettes online using my ID,
Needless to say he has gotten what he deserved, I am pursuing legal action against spammers and my attorney informs me I need 10,00 Domain names that are active and reported to be in spam emails, I have already gotten a list of over 900 from Spam Cop and Spamhaus, I need the help of all anti spammers to email me any domain name that is Included in spam that they receive, please do not email me IP addressess as that does not help, I need spammers Domains preferably active websites, all the domains submitted will be verified with over 5 anti spam agencies before they will be submitted to my attorney.

Uhhh. I'd really really reccomend dropping Hotmail. I am not surprised. I know some people get like 30 e-mails a day with hotmail, all spam, and half of it is usually porn.

How do we know your not a spammer? A list of 10,000 active domains could fetch a good amount of money on the advertising market. Or perhaps you are going to spam those 10,000 domains yourself?

That's going a little far... anyways though, mr. suespammers, you don't need to post this in more than one thread... people will take you LESS seriously when you do... its almost like spamming.

I had a Hotmail account once upon a time. I never gave the email address to anybody but I still used to get 30-40 UCEs each day.

I also have a backup dialup account with a rather large ISP here in Sydney. I have never given the ISP provided email address out to anybody but I still get few few UCEs each week... usually somewhere in there is an email from the ISP advertising their antispam offering which you need to pay for - how convenient!
