You could try buying a domain name on a website domain seller, like godaddy or something.

Does it have to be ranked? I'm asking as it's not very hard to rank on the 20th page or so. If this doesn't matter to you, let me know.

I have a feeling it is getting traffic and ranking for itself. If you click on the name of the developers at the bottom of the page, the main page refreshes. It may be there to get you to enter a lot of names and get a bunch of clicks.

If I type in CNN.com or ABC.com, it returns NO RESULTS.

You won't get any results for CNN.com ? well you must to write CNN.com + a keyword

Try to write keyword "cnn" and it will be working if you also use the domain name CNN , lol
