aww geez,
Before i saw this board, i purchased an "unlimited" hosting plan
and i just found out from these forums that its a no no....(im a n00b...never payed for hosting before)
luckily it has a 30 day money back guarantee
so i was wondering if you guys can tell me some good hosting plans your
currently with/have been with/hear is good...
that are at least...
100megs
3gigs of bandwidth...mabey less
under 4 bucks a month...im young, broke, and jobless :(
(please dont tell me to search the forum...just name a couple)
i dont really know how much bandwidth is good...so out of curiosity, how much bandwidth/hits do you guys use each month for your sites?

hero12384, sorry to hear about your misfortune.
I hope you can get your money back since you were lied to from the beginning.
Search the board for awhile and don't rush into anything.
Good luck!

This will depend on what your website contains, how many people are going to visit it, etc. So each website will be different, I have one that uses about 1GB a day (a forum) and one that uses less than 100MB a day(personal website with pictures).
Start with about 5GB for now if you do not receive that many visitors and have small web page sizes (images included). For your new host, choose one that will allow you to upgrade your package to allow for more bandwidth or to purchase extra bandwidth should you go over.
You've unfortunately learned the hard way about unlimited bandwidth (don't worry, I did too:rolleyes: ), but also be wary of hosts offering plans such as 20GB per month for only $5/month.

Keep this in mind:
Good does not necessarily mean they are famous, and famous does not necessarily mean they are good.
VenturesOnline.com has a great reputation, though I hear their support has been lagging the past few weeks.
