I have been using Ubersmith for some time now and like it a lot. But was curious what other people thought about it and what other options were out there. Let me know what you think and what you use.

Works for me ;) I've tried pretty much all of them and I find Ubersmith to be the best.

Modernbill is overly complicated and not very user-friendly (for both the client and the host) and ClientExec is overly simplified and I've noticed it's just not as good at keeping track of stuff. Ubersmith is definitely a good medium as far as I'm concerned.

Good to know Ubersmith is the only one I have ever used and have been happy with it so far.

I've used Ubersmith both as a client and a company owner, and both times it was excellent. My only gripe stems from their development. They've created a phenomenal product, yet their last update was 3 or so months ago, and the previous update before that was more than 2 years ago. The product is not even compatible with PHP 5. I know the Datacenter edition is their flagship, but it would be nice to see them put a little more work into the Pro version, that many hosting company still use or would use provided they could see some action by the development team.

From the client side it works well too. It's simple, user-friendly and provides all the information that a client might want about their service.

Like others said - love the product but can't stand the lack of updates. Once it's PHP5 compatible and they seriously reconsider their pricing, I might return.

To be honest - I refuse to pay $90+ for a product that might get updated once every few months...or few years.

Thanks to everyone that responded your input was helpful. I don't see myself changing anytime soon Ubersmith seems to be a good product. Maybe some more updates would be to their marketing benefits but I'm a true believer in if it works don't fix it.

I've been with three hosts that used UberSmith and always wondered the name of it. I loved the client interface from the beginning. I recently (this week) moved off of Modernbill and am in the process of migrating over to UberSmith and have to say I'm extremely satisfied with it. The Pro version is well worth the money, I just wish I could easily front $5k for DE. :/
