Where can i go to learn how to setup dns zone files.. im new to this and dont know what all the numbers , etc.. are im using WHM,, thanks in advance

Well, the book "DNS and BIND" is suppose to be good.

I was in the thinking that WHM was supposed to automatically create dns zones .. am i wrong about that?

Maybe its my whm..

I believe WHM creates the zone files automatically. Perhaps, it's configured differently.

well i'll try the book, couldnt hurt to learn how to do it manually..
