I am looking for 2 billing scripts.

One for Dedicated Server Clients.
So please suggest me a good one(except WHMCS as i have looked at it and it is good but i am searching for alternatives)

Secondly, i want a cheap or probably free script as a stand alone billing for few different things like webpage designs. they both will be hostd at different places so i need 2 different scripts.

edit:is any one of you using clientexec for dedicated server clients?

It used to be when they were on the old www.lpanel.net but now I see the domain redirects to the company that bought them out

Check out Ubersmith. It isn't cheap but it is pretty solid for something like dedicated servers.

WHMCS

Tried Lpanel, Modernbill, and WHMAutopilot...WHMCS has them all beat

Try AWBS, too.

Yeah, we are using AWBS at the moment. It's a great script, tons of features but it's really not easy to setup. Compared to WHMCS for example.

We spent a long time on the AWBS forums and submitting tickets to get it working properly. However the support team was really helpful and did manage to sort everything out.

I think it would have been easier on a Linux server, but it didn't seem to like Windows :\

I have used client exec for this purpose, and it works ok. It does not however, allow you to do anything to the dedicated server other than create invoices and charge the client however you want for it. I am not sure about other software that would allow control of the dedicated server such as restarting and what not.

Are you operating your own datacenters or are you colocating a large quantity of servers? If so, Ubersmith may be the perfect control panel for the dedicated server segment of your business.
