http://sh3lls.net is the one I use for all shell needs. They are good, got good support, etc.

unixfire.net is another one

check their site, shows all their servers. Id say mostly gigeservers, justedge, and staminus

They also have a bunch of servers at Awknet in Los Angeles.

I recommend sh3lls.net and crownshells.com. Both companies have multiple servers at all the popular locations including Staminus, Awknet, Gigeservers, FDC, etc.

sure, use justedge. except they don't allow IRC anymore.

They may not accept new customers to use IRC, however I know for a fact that they still allow IRC for their existing customers (maybe their IRC network is full).

Exactly, IRC network is full, so no more IRC. Gregg will tell you people who have servers in their IRC segment.

Not that they are the best, but so many people have been using them Xzibition.com, Outlandz.net, Voltshells.com which are the same company. You can read the reviews on them and conclude that they are worth it but give them a try and you'll see on your own. Not just going by the word.

London based, decent service. Nice if you want to have nodes in other places.

I've used Kirenet.com in the past for IRCD.
