Are high post counts something to celebrate? Not wishing to offend, just asking the question.

It's just something people do around here.

Hmmm... but is "I made 2000 posts!" worthwhile? :)

Well at least I've never seen him do a post with just smilies, or "email sent!"

We all rise up someday.... It took me over 2 years, look at Chicken, and some of the others. They climbed to the top quickly, I remember when I was number 7 on the top 10 here. But, then I stopped posting for several months. :(

Or maybe they aren't. I'm just inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt, now that I know that you're a "Jay."

actually i think the "registered xxxxxx" proves that you've been around awhile, after all, we have users that have about 500 posts in just 2 months, most of them being nonsense that takes up space in the lounge (won't name any names, but we all know who this is :D )

Well, someone could join and then never post :P

very true but that doesn't mean that they don't know anything or shouldn't be trustworthy....

basically, don't base anything/everything on post count....

We can't delete our posts because of the nature of this forum.
I like it that way.

Oh . . . . And congrats JTY
