im not going out of business. my parents rent the server for me for my personal website. i dont own a hosting company. i just want to sell space on my didicated server that isnt being used by my own site

If you sell web space your are running a hosting company. Ask the IRS.....

Just a reminder - Hosting is not just "selling," it's also about "supporting."

Its easy to sell a one year account and get $20. But six months down the road you may ask yourself why are you buried with 50 support tickets.

Think carefully before you provide service. It isn't easy to be a service provider.

Howabout: "God told me to rent this server but he didn't tell me how to pay for it! Anyone want to share space?"
