View Full Version : How can I edit the html code in iWEB?

I created several websites in iWeb, but would like to do some editing, especially adding keyword meta tags.

The problem: whenever I open an iWEB page with TextEdit (setting:RichText), it doesn't show the HTML, but displays it graphically.

The way I did it:

1. Publish site to a folder.
2. Open a page in TextEdit.

What am I doing wrong here?

thanks!

When you are about to open a file, is there an option that says "Ignore rich text commands"? If not, check the preferences and see if you can set it there or a similar option like "save html pages as plain text" or something.

Thank you!

With the "ignore rich text commands" I could see the html source and add keyword and about meta tags.
