Ok i have a problem

i run ./configure and it does what it does

then i type make

but it goes for a while then i get an error that /tmp is full

Ok there is nothing in /tmp, but it fills it up when trying to install gimp

is there a way to tell gimp which directory to use for temp files??

if so, can you tell me what it is

Check if you have enough free space and if you have write permission there. Run make in verbose mode to get more info.
