When clicking external links, the WHT thread seems to return to a 'loading' state, and the external link doesn't open. I have to leave the thread, via clicking back, or exiting the website for the link to open.

It seems to only happen when clicking signature links, or links within user posts(Doesn't happen with ads). I'm not the most frequest visitor, but I can't remember this happening in late 2007(Possibly happened in Jan?).

Browser: Opera 9.25
OS: Vista 32Bit

Tried on any other browser? I am a FF user and I haven't had that issue myself.

It seems I described it wrong! What happens is for some reason (possibly scripting/invalid markup/external include taking too long?) it fails to load properly, it loads everything, except sometimes fails to load 1 element, then this causes the external links not to open until I refresh or leave the page.

I can replicate this over and over again, just by browsing around, and nothing in Fx, so I'm assuming Opera specific(Re-installed twice, for what it's worth).

I wonder if other Vista/Opera users are encountering this? I doubt, although it's possible that it's an error on my end, because I haven't seen this on any other forums I browse, most using the same software, and also displaying ads.

I've been unable to replicate your issue.

Hm, something is still causing my browser to hang when loading pages, therefore unable to load external links until leaving the page. It's still only happening on WHT though, and only in Opera, however now 9.26.
