hi - i currently use streamline.net - but i have come to the stage where i need features like:

mod_rewrite
.htaccess
Options +FollowSymlinks
and
AllowOverride FileInfo
at my <Directory /var/www/xy>

cron jobs...

etc..

and its looking like i'm going to need to find a new host...

can anyone recommend any cheap ones with unlimited space and bandwidth?

This is a "Windows Hosting Forum", I believe where you are looking for is Linux hosting, hence the cron jobs. Best bet would to have this thread moved to the other forum so people can offer you the best company to go with. Hostgator.com seems to be doing great lately, you should check out their website to see if it suites your needs.
