could any one help me on how to get ova a mail lock error 3 and tell me how to prevent this nt to happen again in furure as well as some infomation about .htaccess file? i appreciate any answer or any kind of help in this.

are you talking about sendmail? check /var/mail (presumably) for hidden files (those beginning with a dot). if they exist, i'm pretty sure it's safe to nuke them. it's been a while, but i think they have a .pop extensions. your best bet would be to search google.
