I recently had my Web site (regular porn - nothing obscene)
blocked by most ISPs in Thailand, this includes Ladbrokes.com
and some other porn sites which has local language contents.

We have to change a domain name and IPs

What would you do if this happen to you?
Is there any institution or organization
that you can file complaints regarding this?

Please let me know.

I'd take my lumps like a man and move on.

The internet is a collection of private networks - no one is required to carry your traffic.

Pornography in itself is obscene. Got it? Someone will say that I live in the stone age, but believe it or not: there's still some of us who doesn't get our viewpoints from MTV.

There may still be some of you left, but the number is dwindling. ;)

I think he was differentiating himself from "untasteful" and illegal pornography.

It's also obvious there are still some of "us" who believe their viewpoints should be everyone else's.

And than there are some of us who cant stand MTV, but are still comfortable with sexuality. Dont tell us what is and isnt obscene, your opinions are going to be different from everyone elses. You are not our mother.

As TMX says, no one is required to carry your traffic. But than again some people complained because they got black holed.

Try setting up another website that tells them how to get to a proxy to browse your porn. That will keep your customers there.

My opinion is to read contract before to buy services. Porn or not, talking about flowers or mini-skirts it's a matter of contract: if they allow it then they will have to respect it or face the consequences.

How did they block it? Proxy block, IP block, entire subnet block?

Like some ISP's in Saudia and Middle east block the Ip's and domain. Is there anyway to bypass these ISP's.....

Funny how a few critizising words regarding pornography creates so much out-of-context response and misunderstanding. "You're not my mother," "you're pushing your views on us," "Bla-bla-bla."

No its not funny. People like you have pushed your viewpoints and morals on society since the beginning of time and is exactly why a woman can't walk into Planned Parenthood without getting her picture posted on the internet, and why I can't smoke a joint in my living room without the risk of losing everything. :smokin:

Dear Steve33,

It is indeed funny. :D

All I - in essence - said, was, "pornography is filth, period." All of a sudden I get a dozen space cadets on my neck, accusing me for pushing my views on them, acting like their mother, and all sorts of defensive and ludicrous claims. All this for having a simple opinion.

I love you guys. Have a nice day.
