Does anyone know of any white label live chat system with an API or SDK where we can buy a dev license and integrate it into our software? Flash or AJAX is fine with me. I really do not want to have to develop our own from scratch :) We do not want anything hosting, but something that can be run on a LAMP environment and integrated into a php application.

HCL is an excellent open source live chat system that can also be re-skinned very easily. It doesn't have an API, but since it is open source it can always be integrated with a bit of know-how and ambition ;)

Is HCL short for Help Center Live? The one found at http://helpcenterlive.com? If so, it seems to be a complete helpdesk system as where we need only the live chat part.

Its been incredibly difficult to find a good solution. I might just have to develop it after all. Darn.

Try WhosOn - it has an ISP edition with a Whitelabel option.
