So far im thinking nocster because of there 100% managed servers.

The only thing kind of making me shake is there setup fee and cost of ips. ($5 setup for 10ips + $5/month)

FastServers have just manage, like semi i think you would call it.
Cost of ips are good (25cents perip/month)

Now it comes down to yous.

Ive read other threads about nocster/fastservers

I need your opinion of both dedicated providers. (please only replie of you have a server with them)

Last question. Do of any of them use cogent(or whatever its called) bandwidth.

i suggest fastservers
because everywhere u look u see nothing but positive things
there wont be as much down time as nocster has at fastservers

Nocster = burst

I believe Nocster uses some Cogent bandwidth whereas Fastservers uses Hurricane Electric's network (he.net).

I have no experience with Fastservers. But, my experience with Nocster is enough to have no problems recommending them.
We've been very pleased.

As long as your server is up, Nocster is the best. If your server ever goes down or is unreachable

:( :bawling:

Its been an hour and I have received no response from Nocster. Looks like they are sleeping. Do they really provide 24/7 support?

Extremely disappointed at this time!!!!

hahahah... Doesn't surprise me...

I found out a few hours ago, that my server was rebooted, and the other 2 admins didn't do it..

So that would leave one other possiblity :D

I cannot understand how anyone could conscientiously recommend Nocster or Burst.net with all the problems I've seen posted here in the last several months ...especially SoftwareRevue, he's seen them too.

I feel sorry for Burst in a way. They had a great idea with Nocster and a tremendous opportunity to set the hosting industry on fire, and they blew it.
