i have a RaQ4r from 4webspace. it came preloaded with Interbase. while trying to load and set up iHTML Enterprise Interbase wouldn't work. next i loaded Postgres SQL, it didn't work either. i just loaded the MySQL .pkg form the Cobalt site. are there any conflicts by having all 3 SQL programs on my raq. can i uninsall Interbase and Postgres without damaging MySQL?

I have two, no problems... I suppose you could get rid of the other ones, but I just don't use them.

It's not publicized, but the RaQ has Postgres already on it; it's what the RaQ uses to run the control panel, among other things. I would stongly recommend against attempting to uninstall Postgres, lest you risk breaking something.
I've never heard of any problems running all three on the Raq 4 (you're already running two of them when you take the thing out of the box), so I would suggest you leave things as they are.

From what I understand iHTML will not work with Interbase - and that's from Russ Cobbe (Prez.) PostgreSQL is their favoured one.
Look, the reason I know this is I've been researching iHTML and Linux. How easy have you found setting iHTML up on Linux? They say its difficult. But one mans difficult is another easy...... I'n not familiar with Lx and its put me off.
