i can't get Webalizer 1.3 to uninstall so that i can install the newer version. here is what i did cut and pasted from telnet:

do i have to find webalizer.pl and move it back to the /cron.daily/ directory?

Did you take it out of that directory?

no. the only thing that i did was to perform the fix at http://www.rackzone.com that changes the ownership of the stats directory from "httpd" to "nobody".

how else can i remove it?
