How well does the Bandwidth Limit option work on the RaQ3? I have a subdomain for downloadable files but I want to limit the bandwidth/users at once.

i believe that you need a static IP address for each user who's bandwidth you want to limit. i have never tried this before to tell you any more than this.

Well one thing- if you set a bandwidth limit on a site with an IP address (all sites are set up on a certain IP address), then that limits ALL sites set up with that IP address.

This si good and bad (if you don't realize it).

Bad: Don't set it up on the main server IP address unless you want to limit ALL sites set with the server IP.

Good: You can get assign dedicated IP's to a reseller (for instance), and set up all sites under that IP address, and limit the bandwidth available.

Unknown: I have no idea *how* it controls this exactly, meaning what it does if the limit is reached. I'm guessing it just slows down the site(s) as if it were on the specified line speed, and never really cuts the site off.
