You need to speak to SWSoft sales, it only goes lower than that if you make a huge monthly commitment

Short Answer: Yes, you can find 10VE licensing for less than $50/mo.

Swsoft (Now Parallels) offers retail pricing (one time price) to purchase virtuozzo licensing. But their pricing is setup to where it's a great deal to lease the licenses. As mentioned above, pricing for these licenses decreases based on the provider's committed amount with Parallels.

Depending on the provider's model, they will charge a customer cost for those license rentals and try to make money elsewhere.

With the leased version. Do they require 6-12 months contract?

Pricing has changed significantly from the old rate sheet for lease and one time purchase. We were suprised with the big increase. It will cause us to redo our VPS pricing or look for alternative software.
