Are there many members of WHT that have been around since the beginning?

(for more WHT archives ... http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://webhostingtalk.com )

I use this archive.org site to review some companies before I do business with them... You can see how long they have had a web presence... Sometimes I get some valuable information about the direction they were headed in the past...

Ah, who am I kidding? Most of the time I just get a good laugh at what was "state of the art" in 1996...

And even without that, it's not reliable. I have a site that's been up since 1995 (and from which I haven't banned them), but the first version of it at archive.org is from February 1999.

odd, it hasn't spidered our site all this year :)

checking out WHT is fun via wayback. Every now and then I actually remember a thread that's listed there. Sad to see some of the people who used to post, not here anymore.

UBB was amazing back in the day (still is, but lacks greatly when compared to present standards).

Back then, the choices were limited. And, the forum wasn't very busy then either.
