That's about all I got to say about it.

Although; a picture is worth a thousand words (or 7 out of 10 depending on how you look at it).

Along with the new forum, we'd have to legalize drugs there to understand it....

There's no problem with that... I'm sure as long as he's not spamming then everytihng is fine...

Why is it such a problem? Is there a point to this topic such as him technicaly spamming!?

I think his posts have improved. Give him a break, he's willing to learn.

Well, I think he is just trying to quickly increase his post count, that's all.

One reason why I rarely step into the lounge forum.

I think Rackshack should set it so that the lounge forum posts don't count toward post counts.

I agree with you on that point :) Many big forums have done that and it works just fine.

Good ol' ned :D

I agree with the loung and not counting post counts. Actually, they should just remove post counts. Who really cares anyway?

There has to be an easy way to identify the newbie that comes posting about their fantastic host and how we should all check them out. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But, you are less likely to be swayed by that individuals' post as by a member who has a hundred posts.

I know some big forums that don't list post counts and they do quite well. As a matter of fact, I have suggested other forums, as well as this one, lose the post count to cut down on spam.

Maybe if they would go away after 100 posts or so . . . iunno . . . it's a difficult situation; because of the nature of 'this' forum.

Hu i have no reason why i should want to increase my post count.
Taking away posts counts is a bad idea, i reckon loads host with hosts more if they have high post counts.

Spamming, i have not even mentioned one web address yet and i'm not going to.

I think a universal "ignore" feature would be best.

GlideTech

Good point SWR. I never thought about it that way. I think the idea of turning off post counts after 100 would be good, or would the default user titles achieve the same result?

How would you like it if old men got banned?.

Big difference between "banned" and "ignore," ned.

Perhaps you'd be happier here Ned.... http://www.forteantimes.com/forum/index.php

Cheers

I'd be more apt to put my trust in a member who has been registered for, say, 6 months, but only has 50 posts or so than I would a member who has 200 posts but only registered a couple of weeks ago.
