I installed the webalizer pkg off the cobalt site but for some reason it does not create the stats files. So currently when I go to http://www.domain.com/stats I get an empty directory. Any one know what the problem is?

Pig, u've to wait for 24 hrs I was told before u could see ur webalizer statics.

If you are impatient, you can also telnet in and type:

/etc/cron.daily/webalizer.pl

-that should generate stats for you (now).
