Hi Guys,
I am currently helping a mate running a website which has been setup on PostNuke running pnPhpbb2, we have over 2000 users and about 60000 posts on pnphpbb2.

He wants to develop the site, and wants it 'future-proof' and we looked into vbulletin and ipb and we are looking for some sort of CMS that has plugins from for this forum?

Also, any idea how if its possible to migrate users and posts from pnphpbb2 to any other forum!

Thanks in advance
V

for vb you have VBadvance and there is a paid plugin for Joomla that you could get.

For IPB there is a paid plugin for joomla that you could get and. mkportal.tk

Invision Power Board has got necessary converter for free. And MySource Matrix Open Source CMS developer (Squiz) provide paid extension for IPB integration.

I just bought Expression Engine (http://www.expressionengine.com/) and I'm loving it. I'm not sure if there are converters but it has a main blog CMS with forums with a single login.

I'm creating my site Lone Shadow (http://www.loneshadow.com/) using their software. The only catch is you of course have to pay for it. But it's worked great so far, I've only had it for a few weeks.

IPB is an AWESOME forum, but I don't like any of their blogging/CMS solutions they've come out with yet so I had to make the move away from it.
