View Full Version : drug tests to become a wht member?
cbaker17 08-13-2002, 08:37 PM After reading a couple of ned platters posts, i now have come to the conclusion, that to become a member you must take a drug test.
Or to translate to ned platter lingo:
Yesterday my dog was choking, from my collar on a string, chickens were squaking, at the chain, dragged by dog, to house, where oddball posts were flying at me from my dell black monitor that i like very nice, because old man salesman screamed, drinking from the slurpee, i like dell, dont like signs, signing up, too hard to become member, test this test that. I never was good in school.
ned patter 08-13-2002, 08:39 PM So do you have trouble with your dog also?:D .

Synthetic 08-13-2002, 08:40 PM Funny... :emlaugh:
ned patter 08-13-2002, 08:41 PM No i don't take drugs.
Honestly i have no idea why you all can't understand what i'm talking about.
SoftWareRevue 08-13-2002, 08:45 PM I think, if you had to pass a drug test to remain a member, there'd be about four people left.
cbaker17 08-13-2002, 08:46 PM i think your sig sums it up well ned :)

Poor imitation, you used punctuation. That's a no-no in Neddy Land. :stickout
cbaker17 08-13-2002, 09:42 PM youll notice i did use run on sentances. Its a art to master nedlingo, give me a bit of time
ned patter 08-13-2002, 09:44 PM LOL, it's how i talk.

Yes, my apologies. I should have realized some things take time to master. ;)

I think you would like to talk how i talk.
I used to be jealous of the American accent so it would not be strange for some people to be jealous of the scottish accent.
prelude785 08-13-2002, 10:07 PM i get  everytime i read ned's posts. i hope i'm not the only one. BTW i like that idea of taking drug tests.
Darth 08-13-2002, 10:10 PM Nope, your not the only one..

I have to admit that I've never heard you talk. And, which font is it that has a scottish accent?
Phrozen 08-13-2002, 10:15 PM I can honestly say that I've never been able to read though an entire post of Ned's.
Anyone know where I can find a Ned to English translator? I tried Babel Fish and Google, but neither have one available.

Well to be honest it depends what parts of Scotland and what area.
I have however noticed some youngsters are losing the Scottish accent and people that live in Granton, Westerhailes, Niddrie, Birdie house area still have a strong Scottish accent although you's won't know that place.
Darth 08-13-2002, 10:20 PM Birdie house area lol never heard of it
Lamont 08-13-2002, 10:24 PM In Birdie House are the smart people called Birdie Brained?
ned patter 08-13-2002, 10:27 PM Birdie house is in the west of Edinburgh i would think, pretty near the pentland hills. the areas called Gracemount.
ned patter 08-13-2002, 10:31 PM No it's the south of Edinburgh.
cbaker17 08-13-2002, 10:34 PM maybe ned doesnt speak english and uses a crummy translator to post here, that would explain a lot maybe...

Take the first left at cloud cuckoo land - you can't miss it.
Perfecthost 08-13-2002, 10:39 PM And to think, I felt bad last week when I asked Ned if he were drunk!:D

mwatkins 08-13-2002, 10:44 PM I think he should be banned for excessive use of resources to little or no purpose.
But mostly I think he should be banned so that he can try to start having a real life. I picture a home bound Ned, ear to his scanner, right hand typing away, wasting away his youth.
He should at least have a youth and then come here and waste away his life...
LOL

Ned - you make me laugh so much - Watching you with your Scottish way of speaking and watching these Americans try to understand what the hell you are talking about - it's better than any comedy on TV.
Keep going mate, us Aussies love a bit of humor, plus we have the added advantage of having a lot of American and some Scottish television on our TV's here so I am having no trouble understanding both camps.
I am wetting myself watching all this from the sidelines. Very funny stuff.

I go out every day, dog walks and that.
Quite frankly i think your scared to be Scottish, is there a little bit of truth in that?.
See this thread? Well it reminds me of a reply I once made to one of this characters posts:
http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=56594
Ya know, I'm half scottish and I still don't get you sometimes...
ned patter 08-13-2002, 11:44 PM Well half Scottish does not qualify to be Scottish i'm afraid so i wouldn't expect you to understand anything i say althoug i think some people are joking by saying they don't understand when i have made things quite clear and simple so from now on i will make posts as simple so if you say "ohh i don't understand" then that would mean your a bit daft wouldn't it?.
Lamont 08-13-2002, 11:55 PM I think it's obvious that Ned has a lot of 'Scotch' in his blood.
Synthetic 08-14-2002, 12:15 AM It's not because you're Scottish that we're having troubles understanding what you say. It's your improper usage of the English language.

Synthetic 08-14-2002, 12:28 AM What's wrong with what I said?
Ned, how would you have said it? :)

Well it's you that has the communication troubles so i think it's only right that you shouldn't blame it on me.
Synthetic 08-14-2002, 12:37 AM You were the first individual to say that my post was incorrect. Therefore, I am interested in how you would have properly phrased the sentence I posted.
ned patter 08-14-2002, 12:43 AM I can't remember what exactly you said..
If i was you i would have never had said it at all because it's wrong.

If i was you i would have never had said it at all because it's wrong. You can't remember, or you can't read? The post is just a few spots above...
If i was you i would have never had said it at all because it's wrong. If you're going to contradict the phrasing of my sentence, at least provide an explanation. Otherwise, you have no point, really.
ned patter 08-14-2002, 12:52 AM Oh come on saying i can't read is very poor.
Synthetic 08-14-2002, 01:09 AM Not only are you mis-understanding me, you seem to be avoiding my question.
You: I can't remember what exactly you said..
My reply: You can't remember, or you can't read? The post is just a few spots above...
The question left un-answered: How would you have phrased the sentence?
ned patter 08-14-2002, 01:13 AM Your asking: "You can't remember, or you can't read? The post is just a few spots above..." yes?.
It takes around 12 seconds to get from page back to page and i could not be bothered.

Synthetic 08-14-2002, 01:17 AM Well, I guess that depends on what you entered in the board settings.
Anyways, my question is still left un-answered. If you are going to point out a mistake, or at least claim that there is one. Have a valid reason for doing so.
ned patter 08-14-2002, 01:21 AM Come on hit me with all the questions you can can make up.
Synthetic 08-14-2002, 01:24 AM How would you have phrased the sentence?
I've posted it more than once.
ned patter 08-14-2002, 01:29 AM No No i said "that's wrong" and from what i can remember i said "i wouldn't have posted it at all".
I didn't say what you said was wrong i said your wrong.
Or something.
Synthetic 08-14-2002, 01:46 AM Ah, I see. :)
So I suppose all those posts were pretty much meaningless, and neither of us really knew what each other was refering to.

XTStrike 08-14-2002, 04:43 AM Ned, im still yet to figure out how anyone thats been here as little time as you can have managed to create so many posts, its just amazing.
Its not just posts of "MP Sent" or "." (mentioning no names) they are actually real posts.
I know, I know, Nobody can understand them but still, they are real posts.
I was actually thinking of banning Ned at one point for being "Overly Useless" but hey, hes made me laugh on more than one occasion so hes ok now :D
Keep up the... Erm... "Unusual Work" Ned ;)

Rotifer 08-14-2002, 06:44 PM I enjoy Ned's banter, he keeps it in the proper area no? Creating a thread to bash another member is perverse.
