OK, have a question on another host to see if anyone has any experience with them - gridlocked.
Is there anyone out there hosting with them?
I know they have a few posts on here and they have been replying to my emails pretty quick but I want to hear from you hosting gurus. I have been bit once and outgrew another in the last few months so I am being especially careful this time.
Thanks in advance.

The three most important words here are:
"Data Transfer: Unlimited"

The rep that has emailed me says they have:
"10TB is for each server" and "We keep each server with a load balance, so the server does not run slower when too many sites. Usually, depending on sites, 20-50 a server"(number of sites/server).
I have learned to stay away from unlimited but it sounds legit.

10TB of storage space per server and 20-50 accounts per server? With the price of hard disk drives and enclosures, I'd have to say that it would take awhile to pay for the hardware.
A 10TB array of IDE drives would cost about $20,000. I'm guesstimating.
50 accounts x $65 = $3250.
If they had no other costs, they could pay each server off by having 50 customers on each for a little over 6 months.
Of course, maybe an AUD is a lot more than an american dollar.

Why would you name a web hosting company gridlock? Honesty? lol. Anyways us WHTers dont like the word unlimited.
Only thing I ask, there are thousands of we hosts out there, hundreds on this board. Go find one that doesn't promise to offer something they cant possibly acheive.

I fell asleep watching that intro , way too long and drawn out for a hosting company.
Take care,

sorry guys the 10 TB was in regards to bandwidth/server which was serving 20-50 web sites.

Ah. So it's only "unlimited" bandwidth, not unlimited disk space?
I could be wrong, but it looks like they're hosted on rackshack. Does rackshack have a 10TB plan? Is that their "unmetered" plan? For only $349/month, 50 x $65 accounts would be feasible.
I watched the flash intro and one of the voices sounds a lot like majel barrett roddenberry.
