I'm sorry to repost but this is a serious issue like Netsol but worse as you don't even need to do a search on their site - Don't know how they're getting them - - but it's happening. I just lost a domain to these Metapredict.com / UltraRPM sneaks.
Found this on the issue:
http://pocketseo.com/domains/7

Try doing a test domain search from another registrar
and see if it gets taken soon after.

How do they know a domain has been searched ?

Do a search through reliable registrar and get prepared to register utmost before someone snatch it away. :)

Thanks but that doesn't address the question at all. Please read the link I posted. To say the obvious - search "reliable registrar" and do it quick doesn't answer how it is happening,. Read the link I posted.

I think the article resolved the problem by running the anti-spyware on their computer. Worse than stealing searches, keyloggers can capture your registrar's username and password and steal real domains out of your accounts. After running the anti-spyware you should change your passwords to both your registrars as well as all your email accounts.

No it was not resolved. Again if you read all the reports, it was suspected but there was no real evidence that spyware was involved.

That's...what some registrars are still trying to figure out, other than what they and that article stated so far...

I've also run AVG Anti Spayware and found nothing. No trojans.

Go Daddy have had similar problems after domain searches on their site though they categorically deny passing on details (which I have no reason to doubt ) so the mystery remains....
