BTW, why are the specs you gave above different from the ones on your site?
cheers,

WAY... To much.. Try $1000..
loserservers 03-06-2001, 10:35 PM Yeah!!!! I like the right one!!!
For Dual PIII 256 mb RAM you can ran at $1000.00? Nice,
I can't though:-(, wish I could. It seems Dual CPU
boards are not in high demand. Anyone using it??? Comments please.
jayglate 03-06-2001, 10:37 PM What board you use for dual processor??
loserservers 03-06-2001, 10:40 PM BTW, why are the specs you gave above different from the ones on your site?
Can you please advise???
Thanks a million
dektong 03-06-2001, 10:42 PM ??? Just take a look at your own site and compare ???
cheers,
jayglate 03-06-2001, 10:43 PM The reason why they are different is that I am responding to your post, saying what I think of your pricing, not what I offer.

Jay,
how come just by adding $200 you can get 128MB extra memory, extra PIII 700 and also using a dual P3 motherboard?
All this for an extra $202 from the other price? Wonder.... I will say at least $350-400 extra ....
cheers,
jayglate 03-06-2001, 10:51 PM Roughly, yeah, depends upon the supply and how many parts i order. but yeah. Maybe $1100 on a bad day.
But also consider, he is trying to make "Small" profit on his boxen, I am not selling mine.
dektong 03-06-2001, 10:53 PM Now that makes me wonder what motherboard you are using... Dual CPU motherboard runs anywhere between $130-$600.
cheers,

jayglate 03-06-2001, 10:55 PM It is a MAJOR name brand:
with FSB 133, and lots of good features on it.

Agree with you. Anyway, just checked our website and the
price is right. The only thing I want to mention is that
don't look further into our site since we want to save $$$
for our customers and do not update our site often. The info
is about 1 year old on the site. We offer P-133 ram instead
of P-100 now. Anyway, for Dual board, we use Tyan with dual
NICs. I have to ask my webmater to redo the site soon. Sorry about the confusion. Email me if you have any questions.
jayglate 03-06-2001, 11:02 PM Don't get me wrong if we didn't build our own boxen for the most part, I would buy from you, those are some nice pricing providing your using the intel ca815 or ca810 motherboard on the cheaper server.
loserservers 03-06-2001, 11:10 PM Any comments on Intel 810, 815, 820. I have some customers
told me they hate 815,,, hate it, hate it. Want to hear you
guys about it.
Travis 03-06-2001, 11:34 PM We have a system up and running on an 810EAL motherboard. Seems fine so far. This seems to be a popular board for 1U servers.
jayglate 03-06-2001, 11:57 PM The reason why becasue it was the only quality motherboard with those features to FIT in a 1u case, while the ca815 is better, the AGP card messes up the PCI riser card config. Now some cases have a new riser card that can work aroun the AGP problem.
dektong 03-07-2001, 12:10 AM I use Asus CUSI-FX. People said this won't work in 1U rackmount (overheating) but my server has been running 7 days without any problem. I guess it really depends on the rackmount chasis you use. Anyway, togehter with MSI D815EM Pro, these all boards will work/fit nicely in 1U rackmount casis.
Hey... how about starting a new thread talking about motherboards? :D
cheers,
