Hi

by default the files that are picked up are default.asp and default.htm

Is there a way to configure that index.htm and index.html also get added to the default files . I do not want to do this manually on a particular site but want it to be added to all further sites added in iis.

Probably it can be done by some registry modification or something.

Just edit the Master Site Properties. As simple as that :-)
