Ok all you WHT alcoholics (just kidding). What is your favorite brew of beer? Mine is Labatt Blue all they way.

Redhook IPA
Catamount Porter (Vermont Beer)
Shed Ale (Vermont beer)
Red Seven (7 Barrel Brewery Micro-brew)
Silk Ale (Vermont pub and brewery Micro)
Magic Hat Blind Faith (Small brewery out of Vermont its an IPA)
Vermont pub and brewery also makes a great Belgum Ale (high alcohol and very tasty)
And if I do so say so myself, I make a killer Chocolate Porter :)

Never realized (until now) that I like a lot of Vermont-made beer. Redhook's IPA isn't the best but its pretty easy to find now-a-days pretty much anywhere in New England ( not sure about elsewhere ).

A little story to go with this. When my father was young they didn't have a lot of options for beer so he drank the "American Swill" Budweiser so naturally when I started drinking I started with this. And how I HATED beer! Then an old boss of mine turned me onto Corona which I drank for a little while (no lime!). Then I moved on to Sam Adams...then Guiness ....then Murphy's stout and then I started to really experiment with beers that were tastier...and you have my now-current list. I think one time back in my Corona days I had a glass of Stout and I thought it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever tasted. Now I think its too watered down...funny how tastes change.

Great thread :)

Ziegen Bock 'brewed and sold only in Texas.' I think it is anyway. That's when I want the good stuff. Otherwise Coors Light.

Same here Labatt Blue, As far as all that microbrew my brother brews his own stuff and I have never been able to finish one of those things.. every microbrew he has made I have never been able to drink.. though he could just be making it the wrong way..

Hi,

A vote here for Belhaven Scottish Ale. This is just awesome on tap.

If I'm in a good place that pours a lot of it, I'll have some Guinness. But, I'm becoming a Bacardi Silver and Smirnoff Ice fan. Over the long, hot days mowing the lawn the new citrus drinks really hit the spot. :)
