I am a current Aletia Hosting customer at my wits end, due to their slow demise. I've surfed this board, looking for the best host to transfer to, but there are so many. I was wondering what hosting company is the best for the money. I currently have the "essential" hosting plan with Aletia, but I am exceeding my boundaries. I am basically looking for a very reliable host that doesn't have poor support, and is extremely reliable, but I would still like to obtain a static IP address. I like the services Aletia offered, but just can't deal with my sites being down.

Can someone help me sort through all of these hosting companies listed on this forum, and perhaps narrow them down for a few that I could research better. Also, if you know of any cons of these hosting companies, please, by all means, post away. I'm tired of bad service, and am willing to pay a little more. I like the idea of keeping it around 100.00 per year, but like I said, I'd be willing to pay more.

Are there any hosting firms that have phone support.... I sometimes find e-mail to be slow....

try dixiesys.com, i heard good thing about them. i will set up a reseller plan with them in near future. pretty good price too. i think their shared hosting start at 3.95/mo.
