Arsalan 08-12-2002, 10:44 PM preferred ?? depends on your requirements, there are 3 major ones available (in alphabatical order) 1. Command Matrix : http://commandmatrix.com 2. Ensim WEBppliance : http://ensim.com 3. Hosting Controller : http://hostingcontroller.com Mail servers... I guess the most famous would be iMail. Command Matrix Comes with its own, Ensim has its own mail server too, the hosting controller supports multiple mail servers... Rochen 08-12-2002, 11:46 PM There is also H-Sphere from PSoft - http://www.psoft.net/ It is more a complete hosting solution from billing to account creation. So not just a 'hosting' control panel. inquisitive 08-13-2002, 12:07 AM Ensim has not got its own mailing system ..as I eblieve...they intgrate MailMax .which is a third party application..its nice ( MailMax ) but pretty expensive..:( I recently had a look at the webmail that comes with commandmatrix..Very Clean & Fast..the only problem its doesn't offer much of customization..but anyway it serves the basic purpose completly... If not looking for webmail functionality then I suggest go with Mailenable. as the mailserver on Winservers.. Its free and and has good reports. davet 08-13-2002, 01:50 AM I also have Redhat 6.2 servers running. What control panel can incorporate both Linux and Windows? I would like both my Windows & Linux users to use a control panel with the same look and feel. What control panel do you feel works the best on both Windows & Linux? Rochen 08-13-2002, 01:53 AM I know H-Sphere can do that, not sure about the others. I know Ensim have Linux and Windows control panels but I am not sure if they are integrated like H-Sphere. davet 08-13-2002, 02:16 AM what about cpanel? jbuckle 08-13-2002, 02:37 AM cpanel is only linux/freebsd. H-Sphere is the only multi-platform CP at the moment. Im currantly working on the windows modules of a multi-platform CP, should be ready in a couple of months/weeks, depending how everything goes. Arsalan 08-13-2002, 04:09 AM If you only want a solution for windows, then the earlier options apply, if you would liket o go for a cross platform solution, take a look at H-Sphere (from psoft.net) and Server X Change (from ensim.com). netacore 08-15-2002, 04:08 AM This makes my mouth water: http://www.webhostautomation.com/ snowballffan 08-20-2002, 09:24 AM www.mailenable.com for the mail server and for the WHCP i got one that should work but its still in the beta stages! www.ff-an.com |
