Anybody have any feedback? Or advice? The owner seems nice, she is helpful and a good person. But the fact that she spelled "bandwidth" wrong might be a lead that it's not quite quality hosting.

Hello,

Additional to what WashyGirl mentioned, usually commercial web sites and online businesses will register a .com. But anyway, we wish her lots of lucks..

Lucks to Digitalriot . org

PS: Nice and clean layout. However the flower image could be replaced with a related image, such as speed, server images, or a nice topic on their unique plan. Example: " Quality Hosting Start from US$ 4.50 /month "

WashyGirl, just because there was a spelling error does not mean the host doesn't know what they are doing.
Take my auto mechanic, can rip an engine out of a car piece by piece, slap them back in, and the car is A-1 again. But his spelling is terrible. I care more about how my car runs, then how he spells.

hi yes I run digitalriot and I'd like to apologize for the "bandwith" thing my personal computer crashed and all I had was what my designers had given me as to upload my site and I've been very busy with clients and my own computer problems that I've yet to fine comb all the minor details.

and thank you for your best wishes but i try to be different with my webcompany then sticking to the same replica of designs.

as to information on my company here (http://regretless.com/board/viewthread.php?tid=5485) and here (http://www.smackmb.com/viewthread.php?tid=1665)

as per quality hosting i've yet to recieve a complaint in how i run my business i also own namenova.com (http://www.namenova.com) amy from e-starr is my partner in all of this. I have a staff of 4 other people besides myself. I give great bandwith for low prices, I run a friendly reliable hosting, and I cater to my customers needs. Some are young and have to pay incash and we do allow that we email them with reciepts or send actual reciepts via postal mail.

if you have any more questions feel free to ask them here or even www.digitalriot.org our own forums.

and for a commercial domain, digitalriot.com .net were taken, and I am rather partial to .orgs :)

i currently use digitalriot.org for my site, and i have NO problems at all. i have used other hosting companies before, and have to say this is the best one ive used. the tech support responds fast, helpful in every aspect, and are very nice.

about the misspelling... its kinda like tomAto, tomAWto. (if u understand my pronunciation, lol.)

Or:
bare - bear
wear - ware
The list could go on and on.
And for a lot of folks, English is their second language. And they do a good job at it. Much better then I would if I had to try to communicate in another language.

If you like what they have to offer I say go for it. As a new company of 4 weeks old (according to their website), I'm sure you'll get a fresh-faced energetic team that wants to help.

No-one can vouch for their staying power of course, though I wish them the best of luck. It's a great industry to be on if you have all your ducks in a row.

A. Golestan,
we don't own the .com. We own the .net .org .biz .info but haven't suffered too much due to someone coining the .com a few month's earlier than us. We've lasted over 2 years so I wouldn't put too much weight on a .com'er name considering our opposite number hasn't had a viable site in over a year, and we've buried them SE wise via our name. They renewed their domain name a month ago, but still have nothing to show for it. *shrug* They'll die before we will.
