Hmm.. I'm wondering if the vote for Other was from someone using OpenBSD.

Hello,

UNIX rules....

I believe most of the web hosting providers they are using Linux based servers, due to stability, ability, reliability.

My vote for UNIX.

We use Redhat Linux on all public webservers.

Our main office has a Redhat server doing gateway, fileserver and intranet.

Second office has a FreeBSD server doing the gateway, fileserver and intranet.

There are also a few assorted servers running Debian, etc. but they're for development.

All of my linux boxen run Debian, by far the most advanced distribution (imho, anyway).

I also have servers running HP-UX, Solaris, and FreeBSD..

I don't see OpenVMS in this list?! It runs Apache!!! :)

Oh well, I guess it's an OS that will never take off in the internet world... :bawling:
