The homepage of my site is PR4 and all the popular articles on the site are PR3 and then some are not ranked...

Should I write more articles with similar subjects to the ones that are PR3 or should I just keep writing content by what the site needs and what is missing?

can you do both?
since you are an article writer yourself, it makes it easy for you to promote the site either by posting them on your own site or from other article submission sites?

by the way you have a good site, I am quite impressed.

Thank you...I am learning every day.
Some of my articles are PR 5 on other sites.. Do you think my site will catch up to them? I should save all the good ones for me...LOL

each article must be unique at list for SE. You'd better do not use the same title - better use the same phrase (you are interested in) in the different titles - SE will cath your phrase - be sure.

So if I have the same article on my site I should change the title.. Should I also change or re-word the article?

do updating bcz its the key factor in SE... PR4 3 1 etc are based on the importance of the page. if the page have more article sure will get improvement

I suggest you just don't reword them, but make new ones. Remember that you should also provide content for your sites user and not for SE's. ;)

I have really let the good ones go... If I keep creating content then my site will have to be getting better ranks in the years to come...
Its not easy creating a website. How do the people that have totally copied content get page ranks of five and more???

Page Rank can be faked if you refer to a sites PR via the Google tool bar.

How do you fake a PR through the toolbar? If this is true, where do you find a sites true ranking?

Keep your keyword intact. You may focus on one particular keyword for a page of your site. Other pages can have their own keywords.

Many peoples said that ranking in toolbar is not accurate and just approximation so don't give importance to toolbar much.

If you have a keyword for your main page, should you try to include that in other pages throughout the website.

So if my website was a computer help site and my main keyword was "computer tips"..
and I wrote an article about DVD Shrink, should I include Computer tips on this page too..?

Choose different keywords related to your website and write different articles on each. Remember not to over stuff the keywords in the article; it should be based on latent Semantic indexing. The ideal keyword density should be around 3%. You may also use some related words to those of keywords to in your article. Do not forget to update your articles. These are some of the points which I have been using to optimize our and our clients sites.
