i would like to setup a test server to run on my winXP machine. i was wondering if anyone can provide or lead me to a setup guide to put the following and make them work together.

apache httpd
perl (prolly from ActivePerl)
php4
mysql

There is absolutely no point in installing Apache et al when using Windows (if you wish to use Windows in a full hosting environment)

I would install

PHP
ActivePerl
and of course trusty IIS5.

yah...but i don't think i'll be using it to "fully" host...i just need something to check my templates or new pages and see how they would look when their online...save me the trouble to upload/fix/then upload again etc...
