Im looking for a new company to register .uk domains through via an API. We currently have a directI account but they are not very competative on the co.uk's and as we make no money on domains as it is with all the admin taken into account, I would like to keep costs down to a minimum.

Can anyone suggest other places that we can register uk domains via an API cheaply.

Directi isn't competitive? What are you currently paying for .uk TLDs? And what do you consider a competitive rate?

Why not register with Nominet directly?

How much are domain resellers usually?

Ideally we would be paying similar fees to 123-reg and ukreg but with API access to minimise admin work. ukreg have an API but charge CraZy amount of money to use it - i cant see why anyone would!

DirectI is ok ish prices but doesnt come close to the likes of 123-reg until your reach their very top banding.

Nominet - we dont register quite enough to justify the work and cost involved in setting that up. £500 in the first year to just have the privilage. They say they sell domains to registered users for £5, does anyone know if thats for per year or for the 2 years - it doesnt indicate.

Anyone got any suggestions ?
