When i click the link to purchase i get a total of $159 instead of $109

$109 is for the hardware package, it needs a network package as well for public network access ($40 is for 1500GB). That's the reason for the $149 advertised in the title.

I assume the additional $10 comes from the energy cost adjustments for Seattle or Chicago (servers in Dallas and Los Angeles don't have have that cost)

Actually the intent is to leave the bandwidth portion of every package wide open. We have a lot more options than most, and our sales staff had found that some overlooked what they could do with our servers when just one default plan was packaged with each system. This also makes it possible for clustered systems with only private network access to be void of the extra network fees.
