I currently use Dynastyhost for one of my reseller accounts but today they seem to have dissapeared off the face of the earth.
Can anybody enlighten me as to whats happened ? Has anybody heard anything about or from them. I am/was pretty happy with their service until now.
It may just be something that has happened to their server for a short period of time. But I have called them and I am getting an answering machine.

How long have they been in space for? hehe.. seriously.. how long has it been that you've had this problem?

All 24 hours so far, but it's making me out to look a fool. I know no company has 100% uptime but like no email nobody answering the phone.
Sounds pretty bad to me.

You might want to think about changing companies, the way I see it, if they have been down for 24 hours, and you have tried to call, and they A. Dont answer, or B. Dont have a message explaining the situation, there is no reason for you to stay. Any resonable company should have done something, and if there is no one there to do anything, like leave a message, thats still a reason for you not to be there.

Hmmm
Will this land ever know peace?
OK, I have 2 domains in 2 different servers with DynastyHost.
I strongly believe that they were hit by the same darn CPanel update that floored Aletia down all day yesterday.
DomainGator.com is up and running.
Fused.net is not. They are both with DynastyHosting.

I really don't want to diss them yet. They have been great so far and maybe I should wait another 24 hours and see what happens if nothing by then I will have to take some action and also get money back from my credit card company as well.
Do you guys think thats fair to wait another 24 hours ?

Yes, as I said I have a hunch that it's all related to a CPanel nightly upgrade that has screwed up things.

My guess is that they are victims of the problems occuring at Burst/Nocster since I believe that is where they are hosted.

Can you tell us what the problems at Burst are exactly ?

Hmm....as we speak, DomainGator.com has vanished.
Just great.
That's the ending point of the traceroute:
16 63 ms 72 ms 101 ms BurstNet.demarc.cogentco.com [66.250.5.70]
Before that, until 10 mins earlier I was able to go through. That's the last 3 hops of the good traceroute:
16 70 ms 195 ms 118 ms BurstNet.demarc.cogentco.com [66.250.5.70]
17 257 ms 88 ms 90 ms pos-6-1-border.scr1.hostnoc.net [66.197.191.17
18 132 ms 149 ms 104 ms 64.191.4.197

And both Fused.net and DynastyHost are back up.

Well all seems to be working again, but for how long that is my question.
Well done so far Dynastyhosts.

It's not their fault. Like it was not Aletia's fault yesterday. How many times will I have to say, don't jump to conclusions.
