I've been looking at the posts here. And I plan to setup my own hosting company. But I have some problems.
If for example I already have a reseller host. And already have a merchant account like HOSTCHARGE.
1.)How do I know that somebody has purchased an account.Do I get an email from the merchant account.Saying that somebody gave me money.
2.)If my client gets a hosting plan from me.DO I do it manually or there is a script where in they just have to click the plan and they get it immediately.
3.)What is the domain transfer?.DO all my clients have to transfer domain to me. And what is the proccess.
I KNOW THIS IS ALOT TO ASK.IF POSSIBLE PLEASE ANSWER.EVEN SOME.

This is not alot of questions... a client just asked me 67 ;)
1. To my knowledge you will get a order confirmation via email saying how much they paid, their address, name, etc.
2. Usually you will just need to login to WHM or some other Control Panel... create the user acount and specify the plan (you create plans as well). The acount is then created in a few seconds. FTP, Control Panel, etc is all ready.
3. Domain transfer mean that you are the new "registar" of them. Clients don't need tro transfer domains... they just need to point them to something like:
ns1.yourdomain.com
ns2.yourdomain.com
Hope that helps :D

Get PHPManager. www.phpmanager.com
It's great for keeping track of the things you just mentioned.

There are a few scripts that some merchant acount providers give out (some cost $$$ though). Although you could alway's just have it input into a database and then you can confirm it with the cc info email. If it is valid you can then setup their acount :D
