Hi,
I am trying to create a new account with dotregistrar for the last 3 days or so, but they seems to be displaying a technical issue notice in register page.
Anyone else see the same? Any idea of when they would fix the issue?
Thanks

They have been taken over. Existing accounts have been moved to mydomain.com (who are awful!)

In what ways is mydomain.com awful??
Actually, i used to reg my domains with a local reseller who used to do with dotregistrar. I now wanted them to push them to my own dotregistrar account.
However, i have now created a account with mydomain and my reseller would push them to mydomain account of mine.
can i immediately move them to my namecheap account after they r pushed to mydomain.com account?
Thanks

In what way are they awful? Well... where do I start?
Updates (both Whois changes and server updates) take forever to be processed - days, not hours.
Unlocking domains is hit and miss - you always get a message to say the domain has been unlocked, but half of the time it's still locked.
Customer service is appalling - they take forever to respond to emails, and half the time they talk utter nonsense.
Telephone support exists - but you spend hours on hold, and again you often get told utter nonsense by people who clearly don't know what they're talking about.
As for whether or not you will be able to transfer your domains straight away - depends. Do a Whois check. If the Whois check takes you first to whois.dotregistrar.com and then redirects to whois.dotster.com you'll be OK. If not you may have to wait the statutory 60 days. (I am busy transferring domains away, and fortunately mine all have this "double whois entry" which means that the registry has not registered a registrar transfer so the 60 day wait period does not apply)

Well, looks like things are improving. I've just had a server change done in slightly less than 12 hours.
