Right now my sites are either on freeservers or hosted by friends. I am going to get my own account and am now researching potential hosts. I must say that this site has been very helpful :D

My main problem at the moment is determining how much bandwith I'm going to need. Is there something I can do based on my site stats?

Look at how many page views you get each month, then figure how an avg page size times that by number of page views.

Or post those figures and I will tell you how much you are using.

That was quick!! :D

In total I am getting about 2500 page views a week.

Page sizes range from 4k to 300k (wallpapers).

Thanks you guys!

Well if we avg it out to say 150K per page just to be on the high side. You will use about 350 meg a month. So a small personal plan with around a gig of transfer will do you and still leave some growing room.

Thank you. This will help me decide exactly what I need.
