I have a client that recently purchased a POS system for their walk-in store and they would like to tie their shopping cart into the POS for inventory counts, etc. Their current shopping cart will not support it and they would like to move to something new.

Any recommendations for ASP or ASP.NET? Looking for an API or a fully documented database structure so that I can write an "in between" program to keep the data synced. Shopping cart should also allow products to be found in multiple categories.

How about Vevocart (http://www.vevocart.com/). I haven't used it myself, but have heard some good things about it.
