I've just upgraded to the following server but came up with financial difficulties and will be trying to get go of it. Due to the lump sum of setup fee as well as prepayment that I've paid, it's definitely a good spec with a whole load of bandwidth which would be great for hosting lots of images, videos, downloads etc.
Spec:
- Intel core2DUO 6550
- 2GB RAM
- 11 x 400GB HDD 7200 (Total of 4.4TB storage space)
- Lian-Li full tower case (specially ordered)
- 1000W PSU (specially ordered)
- Free OS reloads
- Free control panels
Bandwidth:
- 100Mbit port - full duplex (You can expect 15-30Mbit/s transfer speeds and 5TB-9TB monthly data transfer)
- Unmetered transfer
- You may upgrade to FDC's Internap dedicated bandwidth or FDC's Gigabit plans by topping up the amount as stated on their websites.
Location:
FDCServers.NET LLC
Chicago, USA - http://www.fdcservers.net
Network:
- XO, Verio(NTT), PCCW, XeeX, WVFiber, Tiscali, HENET, ATT, Internap
- 81Gbps backbone - http://fdcservers.net/Network/NetworkMap
Payment:
- $199/month to FDCServers via PayPal
- Next renewal date: 3rd October 2008 (Another 10 months)
Speed Test:
Support:
All servers are unmanaged. FDC has 24x7 staff available via web based helpdesk.
The takeover is of course subject to FDCServers' terms of service - http://fdcservers.net/TermsOfService. I do not accept any responsibility for the server after the take over has taken place. It is your responsibility to confirm any details you feel are important with FDCServers beforehand.
I'm not looking to make any profit from this takeover but desperately need money for my own financial difficulties.
Costs based on FDC's prices:
- Another ~10 months of service - $199x10 = $1990
- 11 x 400GB HDDs - $199/piece = $2189
- Lian-Li full tower case + 1000PSU that was specially ordered = $500
- Total setup costs come up to about $4679
To be frank, I will be losing money if I'm selling but I desperately need money for my personal difficulties.
Henceforth, I'll be looking at a takeover fee of at least $3500. You have already made a profit of about $1200 at this price.
Please express your interest ASAP.
Thanks!
