OK, we have a lot of extra dual Xeon 2.66Ghz systems with everyone upgrading to Core 2 Duos, etc. so I have decided to have a sale of them here on Web Hosting Talk. I am sure most of you know enough about us so I can skip the details, but if you need more information, we have plenty available for you on our web site: http://steadfast.net. Some of you may be unfamiliar with our newer product, Pooled Networks (http://pooled.net), but the basics are that it is a shared bandwidth product offerins where you get a guaranteed amount of bandwidth, which has no packet loss, latency issues, etc. and then a pooled amount above that, which allows you to burst to potentially much more bandwidth without being billed overages. You can read more about the network configuration here (http://pooled.net/network/index.php).

Should the italics be removed Karl? Isn't the Standard Network Savvis, XO, TeliaSonera, PCCW Global, GameRail, and local peering?

Yes, it should. I copy and pasted the network listing to assure I wouldn't forget someone, but then forgot to remove that. Yes, the standard network is Savvis, XO, TeliaSonera, PCCW Global, GameRail, and local peering.

I said it in the notes above, but I was certain it was going to be easily missed, "If you want the 2x 120GB drives though select the 250GB drive and note you want 2x 120GB drives in the comments field." Our system doesn't allow us to do different upgrade pricing for different base configurations, etc., so...

Yep, definitely, just make sure you note that in the comments.

It seems there has been some confusion, so I figured I would note it here. The Pooled Networks special does not have the usual guaranteed 2 our Pooled Networks setup as with the special we would need to physically move and reconfigure the systems. The setup time will be roughly the same no matter what hardware upgrades or OS you request.

Is it not possible to have 1TB drives with this config?

A 1TB drive would be $50 a month extra. They're not listed in the order form as we had a recent run on them and only have enough on hand for spares, in case some existing 1TB drives fail. We have another shipment of them arriving early next week.
